Scottish actor Brian Denis Cox has been active in the industry since the ’60s and gained recognition while doing extensive work with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal National Theatre. In 1986, he became the first actor to portray the fictional serial killer Hannibal Lecter in the movie “Manhunter.”
