Sam Elliott, 78, Born In 1944 – Mission: Impossible
Sam Elliott’s tall and thin stature, deep voice, and bushy mustache have him standing out among the rest of the actors in Hollywood. Despite appearing in productions like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and Mission: Impossible in the late ’60s and very early ’70s, it was in 1972 that he played out his breakout role in Lifeguard.
At 76, Elliott is as busy as he’s ever been, currently working on voicing Ward Hill Lamon in the upcoming documentary, The Gettysburg Address. Until the Netflix series The Ranch ended in 2020, he starred in it as well. Elliott is a father of a daughter he shares with actress Katharine Ross.
