Winning the Miss World USA 1972 title and competing in the Miss World pageant of the same year put Lynda Carter on the grid and allowed her to pursue acting a short time later. However, it wasn’t until she won the title character on Wonder Woman did she fully reached stardom.
Partners in Crime, Hawkeye, and Supergirl are some of the other television series she’s had notable roles in. Despite being on the verge of turning 70, Carter is as pretty as ever. The mother of two, who was widowed just recently in 2021, will soon appear as Carlene Briggs in The Cleaner.
