American actress Gail Strickland can be recalled as the nurse Captain Helen Whitfield in the TV show “M*A*S*H.” While she had a long-running career with her last acting project in 2008, according to her IMDb profile, she has mostly only appeared in supporting roles and cameos in numerous TV shows and films.
So much so that her resume has just a bit under 100 acting credits to her name. She’s even had a bit to do in the sound department, having performed film soundtracks on two different occasions. The first was for the 1987 film “Sisters,” whereas the second one titled “Everybody Be Gay” was for the film “Quality Time.”
