Rita Moreno is an American actress, singer, and dancer. She rose to fame after starring in the musical films “West Side Story” and “The King and I.” Known in various areas of the entertainment industry, Moreno has appeared in numerous film and theatre projects for over 70 years.
This legendary actress was awarded a Kennedy Center Honor in 2015, and in 2019, she received the Peabody Career Achievement Award. In 2021, Moreno starred in the film adaptation of “West Side Story.” She also participated in the “Wicked in Concert” on PBS that same year.
