LARRY BIRD, 66, BORN IN 1956 – NBA
Larry Bird is a legend of the National Basketball Association and started his career in the ‘70s when he began playing college basketball at Indiana State. He was drafted for the NBA in 1978 and is known as one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
He goes by the nicknames ‘the Hick from French Lick’ and ‘Larry Legend’ due to his impressive skills on the court. Bird has now retired as a player but that doesn’t mean he still can’t be a part of the sport. Owing to his expertise and experience, Bird now works as a coach for the NBA.
