Jacqueline Bisset wasted no time making a mark on the acting industry at the beginning of her career. She got her first significant role in 1968 when she starred in the film “The Sweet Ride” and earned a Golden Globe nomination for that performance. This achievement just served as a springboard for the rest of her career.
These included roles in the Oscar-winning film “Day for Night” and another Golden Globe-nominated performance in “Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe?” Some eventually won a Golden Globe for her role in “Dancing on the Edge” and, in 2021, had a starring part in “Birds of Paradise.”
