Bob Newhart, 93, Born In 1929 – Young Sheldon
Known for his dry humor and stuttering delivery style, Bob Newhart is a stand-up comedian who has been in the business since the ’50s. His 1960 comedic album, The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart, was a best-seller that topped the Billboard pop albums chart back then.
Newhart is also one with quite a few acting credits under his name. Among them is The Big Bang Theory, wherein he played Arthur Jeffries, a.k.a Professor Proton. He also reprised the role in the show’s prequel spin-off Young Sheldon. Newhart is now 91 years old and has been one of the lucky few to have a 58-year-long (and counting) marriage with four children.
