Helen Shapiro is a legendary jazz singer and actress, best known for her beautiful and angelic voice. She started her music career when still young, recording her first two albums at 14 years old. Shapiro has sung songs like “You Don’t Know” and “Walkin’ Back to Happiness.”
Her acting prowess is seen in films like “Oliver,” a British soap opera, “Albion Market” and “Cabaret.” Shapiro published her autobiography, called “Walking Back to Happiness,” in 1993. In 2012, she appeared on the BBC Radio 4 show called “The Reunion” and on BBC Radio 3’s “Good Morning Sunday.” Not much is known about the “Seesaw” star in recent years.
