Tim Matheson is a proficient American actor and film director. He is best known for his role in the “Jonny Quest” TV series and the comedy film “National Lampoon’s Animal House.” Matheson also starred as the Vice President in the NBC drama “The West Wing.”
The NBC film earned him a nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series and two Prime Emmy Awards. Matheson has directed films like “Covert Affairs,” “The Good Guys,” and “Criminal Behavior.” From 2011 to 2015, he starred in the movie “Hart of Dixie.” And since 2019, he has been on the show “Virgin River.” He also starred in 2021’s “Evil.”
