Barry Manilow is one of the most famous pop performers of all time and is widely regarded as the epitome of the soft rock and urban contemporary genres. He ruled pop music in the second half of the ’70s with hits like “Copacabana (At the Copa),” “I Write the Songs,” “Mandy,” and “Looks Like We Made It.”
Manilow’s popularity remained constant throughout his seven-year career. In 2017, he came out with “This Is My Town: Songs of New York,” where he paid tribute to his city. In February 2020, he released “Night Songs II,” a follow-up to “Night Songs.”
