Elinor Donahue is an actress, most famous and loved for her role as Betty Anderson in the sitcom “Father Knows Best.” She’s been in the acting industry for almost 70 years, featuring in the sitcoms “The Andy Griffith Show,” “The Odd Couple,” and “Get a Life.” Over the years, she has written several books as well.
The now-retired Elinor had her last official acting role as Judge Anderson on “The Young and the Restless” in 2010. Donahue, a mother of four, claims that changing her name to Elinor changed her life for the better.
