And when she was 12 years old, she witnessed a murder in the city, which highly affected her. So in 1953, together with her father, she moved to Los Angeles, California.
Her film career started in 1957 when she starred in the film “Young and Dangerous” before releasing her first album, “Concetta.” She has appeared in numerous films, including the popular musical film “Rock-A-Bye Baby.” In 2019, she starred in the movie “By the Rivers of Babylon” as Meredith.
