Born as Anna Mae Bullock, she adopted her stage name Tina Turner, which was a good decision as it made her a renowned singer in America. That’s not all. She is also dubbed as the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, a righteous title if you ask us.
She was part of the musical duo Ike & Tina Turner before launching a solo career. The 81-year-old’s biggest hit is What’s Love Got to Do with It, released in 1984 as part of her fifth studio album, Private Dancer. After being on a hiatus for 11 years, Turner released a remix of her hit single in 2020, collaborating with Kygo.
