Maggie Smith, 88, Born In 1934 – Downton Abbey
The older generation may remember Maggie Smith for her early work in productions such as Three Tall Women and Private Lives. Still, the recent generations know her for something else altogether. Smith is the actress who gave life to Minerva McGonagall’s character in the Harry Potter film series.
Smith, one of the few people to secure the Triple Crown of Acting, is still very much active in her career despite being 86 years old. Between 2010 and 2015, she had a lead role in Downton Abbey and is currently busy working on A Boy Called Christmas, Downton Abbey 2, A German Life, and The Miracle Club.
