Heather Locklear grew to fame by playing the character of Amanda Woodward on the soap opera Melrose Place. This performance won her multiple accolades, including four consecutive Golden Globe award nominations. However, this TV series wasn’t the only thing she was known for; her acting in comedies was much appreciated throughout her career.
In 1989 Locklear played the lead actress in the action-comedy film “The Return of Swamp Thing.” She returned with another in 1997 titled “Money Talks,” whereas two of her other notable comedies include “Looney Tunes: Back in Action” and “The Perfect Man.” She has been in two long-running marriages, both with musicians, including Tommy Lee and Richie Sambora.
