Robby Benson was almost certainly in your bedroom if you grew up in the ’70s and had pictures of your favorite celebrities on your walls. His fate as a teen idol was pretty much sealed after starring in the films “One on One” and “Ice Castles.”

He continued making appearances in films and on television for decades after his initial rise to fame, including discovering his iconic voice role as the cursed prince in “Beauty and the Beast” in 1991. In the ’00s, Benson’s on-screen appearances were fewer and farther between. However, in 2019, he made a comeback with roles in “Apple Seed” and “A Feeling of Home.”
