The royal house of Prince Ernst August of Hanover had a monarchy that was abolished back in 1866. Both he and Princess Caroline have experienced divorce with their previous partners but found love in one another. The couple has one child together, Princess Alexandra Charlotte Ulrike Maryam Virginia of Hanover; she was most famous for boldly converting to Catholicism in 2018.
