Clive Myrie And Catherine Myrie
Clive Myrie built his entire career at the BBC. He joined them as a radio presenter in 1987, graduate journalism program. Before getting his BBC break on Independent Radio News, he worked a few regional stations. He eventually moved into TV, working as a foreign correspondent in Tokyo and later Los Angeles.
In 2021 he became the host of the quiz show “Mastermind.” While he was still transitioning from radio to TV, he met his wife, Catherine Myrie. In many ways, he credits her with encouraging him to pursue his dreams. In 2022 he covered the Russian invasion of Ukraine but eventually left as things became volatile.
