Sue Barker has had a pretty eventful life. She gained initial fame as a professional tennis player, winning 15 titles including the French Open. Her best ranking was number 3 on the ATP ranking. After retirement she moved into sports analysis, working as an expert for the BBC.
She has been married to former policeman Lance Tankard since 1988. He currently works as a landscape gardener. She gained fame for hosting the show “A Question of Sport” although she stepped down in 2021, although she was sad about doing it. She also received a CBE for her service to broadcast and charity that year.
