George W. Bush served as the 43rd President of the United States from 2001 to 2009. Though he’s maintained a relatively low profile since leaving office, he and his wife, Laura Welch, still make notable appearances at various events. For example, in 2021, the couple were amongst those who attended the inauguration ceremony of Joe Biden.
Former President Bush owns a ranch in Crawford, Texas, known as the Praire Chapel Ranch. The property was the scene of many meetings of heads of states during Bush’s tenure, earning it the name “The Western White House.” He also owns an 8,501-square-foot home in North Dallas, two hours away from the ranch.
