Gavin Newsom: $20 Million – California
Gavin Newsom assumed office as the 40th Governor of California in 2019. But before then, he was the Mayor of San Francisco from 2004 to 2011. Newson was also the 49th lieutenant governor of California from 2011 to 2019. In 2021, he signed legislation to expand Medi-Cal eligibility to undocumented residents over 50.
Newsom spends time away from the office at his California mansion. The home, which spans 4,000-square-feet, has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. But the governor didn’t get a chance to truly enjoy the luxurious home. Instead, after a decade of owning the house, which he bought for $2.22 million, he sold the property in 2021 for $5.9 million.
