Condoleezza Rice: $12 Million – Palo Alto
Before Kamala Harris was inaugurated in 2021, Condoleezza Rice held the title of the highest-ranking African American woman in U.S. history. Rice served as the 66th United States Secretary of State from 2005 to 2009. In 2021, she received an honorary degree from Siena College in New York.
Rice once owned a single-story, 1,500-square-foot home in Palo Alto. The house has two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a guest cottage. Another impressive feature of the home is its lush greenery. However, it was sold in 2017 for $2.3 million, a pretty good deal considering that she bought it for $550k in 1998.
