Ted Cruz is a member of the Republican Party and the first Hispanic-American to serve as a U.S senator from Texas. He took up the role in 2012 and still retained his office in 2021. Although Cruz lost the running for the Republican presidential nomination to Trump, he became a staunch supporter of his presidency.
Cruz owns a home in the River Oaks neighborhood of Texas. He caused controversy in 2021 when he jetted off to Cancun in the face of harsh storms in Texas. The 4142-square-feet mansion features a stunning living room done in pale neutrals. The floor-to-ceiling windows also offer a clear view of the lush greenery in the yard.
