Kathleen Sebelius & K. Gary Sebelius – Married Since 1974
Although Barack Obama was loved by many during his time as President, one thing that polarised many of his peers was his Affordable Care Act, aka “Obamacare.” A key player in the swearing-in of that act was Kathleen Sebelius, who served as the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services during Obama’s second term in office.
She also served as the Governor of Kansas before then and was only the second woman to have that position. She and her husband, K. Gary Sebelius tied the knot in 1974. He was the Magistrate Judge for Kansas, serving for 16 years before retiring in 2019.
