Joe Biden has had a whirlwind ride to his seat as President of the United States, and we’re not just talking about his 2020 campaign against Donald Trump. He also ran in the primaries in 1988 and 2008 but didn’t make the cut, although he served as vice president under Barack Obama.

He’s been married to his wife Jill since 1977. This is his second marriage, though, with his first one ending after his wife and daughter died in a car accident. He credits Jill with reigniting his political aspirations, and together they share three children. In 2021 he was spoofed by legendary actor Jim Carrey on “Saturday Night Live.”
