Sheryl Crow has achieved unparalleled success as a musician. Her self-titled second album “Sheryl Crow” won two Grammys, including one for “Best Vocal Performance.” Another song in the album “Redemption Day” had the highest honors bestowed upon it when Johnny Cash covered it.
In 2006, Crow received an honorary doctorate from her alma mater University of Missouri. She has also lent her musical talents to the soundtrack of many movies. For the 1997 Bond film “Tomorrow Never Comes,” the producers chose her version of the track over multiple submissions. In 2022, she revisited her career’s ups and downs in the documentary ”Sheryl.”
